What could be causing the ticking noise in my 2001 volvo xc70.?

    Car is making a clicking noise. Sounds likeit is coming from the front. Can hear it best when driver side door is open. Don't hear it when I am driving.If I stop, I can hear it. Checked the oil, oil is fine. Didn't see anything that looked out of the ordinary.
