2002 V70. Theft alarm

Alarm keeps going off for no reason and drains the battery (I have already removed the fuse so only the light flash). I would like to disable the alarm permanently to prevent this from happening. I've searched youtube with no luck. Does anyone have a solution? There is no button on the console to temporarily disable the alarm.

Alarm keeps going off for no reason and drains the battery

Before disabling it, check the hood switch. On those V70s the alarm switch under the hood corrodes and the car thinks someone opened the hood, and that's the number one cause of random alarms. Clean it or replace it (it's cheap) and see if it stops.
