Is there any way to make the foglights automatically come on when the
    car is started?

I like the look better with them on, and it is a nuisance to
constantly turn them on (I forget half the time).

    Thanks in advance.

Fog lights are for ...... ummm .. wait for it.... FOG! and other bad weather
conditions not for use because it "looks better". In some states it is
illegal to have them on unless the weather calls for it and I wish that law
would be enforced more. You would be pissed at me if I chose to keep my high
beams on because it is rude, so is keeping fog lights on when they are not
    needed.

Yeah thanks. I don't recall asking your opinion on my fog lights or my
    personal preferences, though.

They point at the ground immediately in front of the vehicle. I've
never had someone's stock foglamps blind me (as high beams do) when
driving. Its also not in anyway illegal in my state to have them on as
    I see fit.

I was looking for informed and pertinent facts, not your soapbox
    diatribe.

Here is a less thought out reply then yours, BITE ME.

Your reply has no truth to it, and you know, dictionary.com did you well
with the word "diatribe" but my comment still applies. Fog lights have a
valid use (making it safer to drive during inclement weather). Making your
car look better to you is not one of the valid uses of FOG lights.

You sure seem to get your panties in a knot quite easily. Do petty and
unsubstantiated attacks on my vocabulary make you feel better about
yourself? I hope so. Oh well, on to more important things.

    Happy motorin'!

P.S. I wonder if I'll sleep better at night knowing that you're out
there somewhere pissed off? Hell, knowing that there is even a chance
that I might pass you with my fog lights on is absolutely delightful.
I'll never turn 'em iff now!

In that case your best bet is to buy an unmodified BMW 3 series, the fog
lamps are always on and the indicators aren't connected.
