Greetings, I've had a 94 Volvo 940 for 3 years now. Every winter my car would either take a bit to start (4-5 seconds) or, rarely not start, only to start either a few min later or a few hours later. Its fine in the warm weather. I've brought it to the mechanic several times, we both agreed it seems to be has related. The fuel pump seems to be fine and working. Some fuel sensor was replaced - never fixed the issue. Has been happening for 3+ years. Today, in 70 degree weather it shut off while driving. 10 min later it started. 5 hours later it won't start. I'm searching for a diff mechanic in the meantime, but can any one help me with some advice on what to look for? Or what to tell the mechanic to make it easier? Thanks!
