Just turned 151,000 in our '92 940TD. And that is miles, not Km, Boris!

I recently passed 257k on mine, no signs of trouble yet.

I had my ride in to Getty Automotive the other day for a couple of
maintenance items, and I took his 88 740 GLE service loaner out for the day.
575,000 kms, guys...drove perfectly. Nothing at all wrong. I think that is
kind of amazing. The engine has never been apart for a head gasket or
anything like that. The B230 is an incredible thing.

just clicked past 225,000 miles in the 92 940t...no problems yet (that
weren't caused by driver error)...no rattles, smooth braking drives
very tight & straight...

sorry then folks - looks like I've got some reliable motoring and catching
up to do then ;-))
Who needs an expensive new car when you've got a lovely old beast like a
Volvo???

We just did 142,000 (miles): Volvo 440 1.8i. Still runs as new.

I've been driving an '86 240 wagon, has 360 K miles behind it. It needs
a head gasket now, which I hope will be done in about a week. This is
one good car.
