89 240 Odometer Drive

supposed to be driven by a traditional cable?

The mechanical speedo in your turbo is covered at

of tubes of JB weld handy, it worked on my 245 for over a year now.

240's have mechanical cable driven speedometers until '85, in '86 they got
electronic.
