Alarm system doesn't set

    I have a 2002 S60. When I lock it with the key or press the lock button on the driver's armrest, the alarm system sets. When I press the lock button on the passenger armrest, all the doors lock, but the alarm system doesn't set. Is this a bug or a feature?
