Any idea why I get a groaning / creaking from front on my 91 960 24v when turning the stearing wheel

  1. Any Idea if it's just a case of oiling the bushes ? is it the bushes ? if so
    which ones and where ?
I greased some up on a ramp last month but it's getting worse. 86k miles

    Thanks

See if you can find out where the creaking is coming from. Anywhere
there's movement, you can have a creak.

There is a big rubber bushing and bearing at the top of each strut, in
addition to all the obvious stuff at the control arm. Keep in mind that
ball joints and tie rod ends can also creak. The weakest point on your
front suspension is where the control arm and control arm stay meet.
