B21 have rear, half-moon shaped oil seal?

    I was browsing through the IPD site and they have a cam seal retainer
    plate. It says it's only for 85-93 series 240s. I always thought all
    240 engines had the half-moon rubber oil seal at the back of the
    engine. Does the B21 engine ('78) have this seal, or no?

    No. It was only with the introduction of the 740s (which have the
    distributor run from the cam mounted on the back) that the covers
    (shared between both cars) had an opening there to seal.

    Great, thanks! (I've been worrying for the last four years when this
    non-existant seal would start leaking!)
