Thanks in advance. The pictures posted are for my 1994 Volvo 850 Turbo cam sprockets. They appear to be in the wrong position.
The car runs fine, and I'm just now getting to change the water pump / timing belt on this unit. Someone else has been here before and put in their own marks. Shown on pictures.
They do not match factory/manual specs and I cannot even find the mark on the left (exhaust?) cam sprocket. The sprocket looks like after market without a timing mark on it.
Should I just trust fate/Volvo Gods to assume these marks are made correctly or should I look deeper into how the cams are aligned? And how do I do that, if I may ask?
Would like to keep this car for another 200k miles.
