Can anyone recommend where to buy a R134 A/C Conversion Kit?

    OK, I found the kits at FCP Groton.

    My new task is how to measure the proper amount of R134 to add to my
    1987 740

    Use 3 cans, that's close enough.

    If you need a vacuum pump to evacuate the system, you can get surplus
    window A/C compressors for under $10 from usamfg.net, you'll also need a
    run capacitor for one though which they also have, 2.5uF IIRC. Email me
    later if you need more details.

    You know, I have a kit that I purchased on ebay last year, and decided
    not to use. I think I purchased it for around 85.00.
    If you are interested, I you could contact me. just email me at
    of course remove the nospam.

    I have been trying to juggle economically three 240 wagons (an 89, a
    91 and a 93). The A/C has never hit the part of the "next to do" on
    the list.
