check engine light on

My car is Volvo v40 2.0T, 2001 year, 50000Km, European version. When I
turn on the ignition key and before engine starts, DSA light and Check
engine light is alwasy On, Service light is also on, I think I need to
do the service. After engine starts, DSA light and check engine light
is off immediately. Service light goes off after 2 mins. Driving is
quite ok, sometimes I need to start engine 2 or 3 times, but not very
often.

Is there something wrong in the car? The gas cap is tight.

there may be something wrong w/the car...it sounds like it, if
sometimes you have to start it two or three times...try taking it into
a volvo shop and have the cpu read...most likely there are error codes
that need to be read...then the shop can tell you what is
wrong....imho...
 
This appears perfectly normal to me. Check Engine comes on as a bulb test
before you start the car and then goes off. Service light comes on to
remind you to change your oil because you've gone 5000 km since it was last
reset. Check your manual for how to reset the service light after changing
the oil.
