check engine light

Check light comes on but no noticable change in performance or running of
engine. Just done a 900 kilometer trip with no problems, then idling in
traffic light comes on! Car (97 850 wagon) just had 130000 km service with
replacement of flame trap. Any ideas?

How about getting the code(s) that the computer is complaining
about?????
