display shows radio station/CD but no sound

    06 S40. I just bought it, my first Volvo.
    Radio/CD displays station but no sound comes out. Speakers don't even pop when turning it on. wires by amp look modified. At first no radio or CD on display. big green plug was unplugged from amp so I plugged it in, and then display worked.

    I have a voltmeter hurried somewhere, haven't found it yet.

    Can anyone make sense of these wires?

    1. What's the stray green plug.
    2. Any idea about the other 2 stray wires with Spade connectors?
    3. Is there a list of what audio wire colors go to what? (Particularly the audio wires going through the trunk)?

    Thanks in advance! The kids are asking me every day if the radio is fixed lol

    It might be better if you look for a wiring diagram.
