Yesterday I turned off my 2008 S80 but couldn't eject my FOB from the ignition. I can restart the car and turn it off without a problem but the FOB stays in. I went on YOU TUBE to see if anybody had posted a fix. There was one guy who said to pull the FOB out with a pair of pliers and look for a small piece of plastic in the slot which caused the jam. He says using the pliers will not harm anything ????
Seems a little drastic so am looking to you guys who may have had a similar problem or fix. Replacing the ignition is a healthy $600 so in that sense the pliers sound good. Anyone ?????
