Motivated seller, make offer - $3500/obo
THIRD SEAT – AIRBAGS – LEATHER – 6 CD – ABS – DAILY DRIVER – KEYLESS
ENTRY
Ten years ago this 1994 Volvo 850 Turbo wagon retailed for around
$35,000 – this is a greatly reduced price for A LOT of car. Owner
accepted new job in Oregon - now relocating to West Coast by November.
You reap rewards of a quick cash sale with a clear title ready to
transfer. Reliable car that you can drive with confidence starting
today. No time to haggle thru the sale so what follows is honest
assessment of the car.
EXTERIOR: Shiny red with nice finish and limited dings & scratches.
Tail light lenses and black rubber bumpers are discolored due to
sunshine.
INTERIOR: Tan leather interior with wear & tear worse than average,
but not disgusting. Has less than great VOLVO factory mats/faded
carpet. Front bucket seats need covers to hide their age and well used
look.
MILES: 149,000 with 5-Cyl. 2.3L Turbo and automatic transmission
POWER – driver seat, sunroof, cruise, doors, mirrors, window, locks
FEATURES: cold A/C, third seat, dual front airbags, keyless entry,
cargo gear cover for rear, built in booster sear, split/fold down back
seats, rear window defroster and wiper, engine mode selector for
economy/sport or winter, alarm, on-dash computer, third seat.
TIRES: Needs 2 rear tires now!. Front tires excellent.
STEREO: AM/FM/Cassette with rear 6 CD changer. All work & 6 speakers
all good.
EXTRAS: Service records, owner's manual
NOT SO GOOD: Seeping oil since last Fall but is a daily driver if you
monitor the dipstick. Up the street is our regular Volvo repair shop
where they have given us repair estimate of $1000. This will include
timing belt change. Tailgate won't stay up & the tailgate interior
panel rattles on rough roads (typical issue with most Volvo wagons –
see www.ebay.com for cheap do-it-yourself OEM repair kit).
If in excellent condition, this car retails for just under $6,000.
We're taking $2500 off for repairing the leak (which doesn't need to
be done ASAP), two new tires (do now!) and tailgate bothersome issues
(which total about $100). She's been well-used, so this price
reduction is to help offset her blemishes AND to get this off my ‘to
do" list ASAP. Open to all offers - this Volvo is ready to ride many
more miles for you.
