Hi I am having a little trouble with my 99 S70 GLT w/ 175,000 miles on it.
The problem is that my generator warning light (looks like a red battery) randomly flickers.

-When it flickers my head lights and all interior lights dim for a sec and then return to normal. -It is not constant, sometimes the light will not come on for 5 mins and other times it just keeps flickering.
-I had the battery and alternator checked at auto zone both were fine.
    - I checked to make sure the cable to the alternator was tight and corrosion free and it was. ---The battery terminals are clean and tight.
-There is no problem starting the car an the battery remains charged.

Any info would be greatly appreciated I would hate to have to bring this into the shop cause im broke. I have a multi-meter so I can run some tests if I knew where to look Thanks in advance
