hi, I have a new head gasket for 16v redblock engine.
the gasket is not perfectly planar, but is little concave, between the
holes of two central cylinders, of about 5 mm with respect to the plan.
for example:

if placed on a table, and I press us above, when I remove the pressure
returns concave.
It is a problem?
Or when it is blocked between block and head works well?
thanks.

Dont know if its a problem, but giving a complete OEM gasket set for the
head cost around 30-40 euro I wouldnt use it.

The gasket will even out when compressed between the head and the
block (assuming the head is properly milled). If the head is warped,
you're in deep doodoo and need to have it properly milled by a machine
shop. This should be done in any event when the head is removed and,
presumably the valves will be inspected and renewed.
