    Good day,
My volvo850(1995) failed to pass the annual technical test due to worned
break lines. There are visible cracks in the rubber that covers these lines.
I've never did break lines replacement before and I think its wise to ask
about how to do it before starting doing it. I have the procedure for
bleeding the system took it from Haynes repair manual. But, i still lack the
step by step instructions for break lines replacement. Anybody knows how to
    do it?

    thanks in advance,
    Husam

    Husam,

There is a special tool available to remove the rubber hose connector that
goes from the metal breakline to the calliper. Its like an ordinary wrench
(round and 6 sided) but it has an opening at the top end. The metal
connectors of the hose is copper-like (soft). Donnot try to use an orinary
    wrech you'll wreck it.

    Cheers,

    Martijn

It is referred to as a flare nut wrench I believe. To remove the old
ones a vice grip is OK, but you need the proper wrench to assemble.
