ignition problem

  1. hi guys i have a 940 saloon with B230FB engine and no spark from ignition
    coil power into coil and out of coil but no spark.. will replace coil
    tomorrow but if coil not faulty what fires the coil so that can be checked
    thanks. george

    The current to the coil is switched by a unit that is located just
    behind the left headlight on the inner fender, at least on the cars we
    get in North America. It's mounted on a small aluminum plate that acts
    as a heat sink.
