lifespan of plug wires, cap on '92 240?

    Mine have been on there at least 60K miles. They could even be the
    originals. Time to change them out? Thing runs great at 122K miles.

  2. I think its time. If you do, change everything at the same time. You may
    want to see what a coil costs, as with the new components, the load may
    change. It just seems to work out that way.

  3. Unless the wires are premium, I'd replace it all. Do the cap and rotor

    and plugs every 60k miles or three years, whichever comes first. They
    will obviously last longer than that, but you'll start to lose MPG and
    ease of starting. Wires are good for two to 10 years, depending on
    quality and conditions.
