Need some advice...

Im going to give my V90 3,0 1998 to my grandfather soon, and buy a newer
car.

I will miss my wonderful v90, but sometime you finally have to buy a newer
car, sad but true


I don't really care for frontdrive cars, but there isn't much else to choose
if i want a Volvo with big engine.

I want a big roomy Volvo, latest Volvos i had was stationwagon, but i have
nothing against having a non-stationwagon, I really want a car with power
and that will be fun to drive, and fast
Have always loved the sound of the 6cyl engine in my V90, sometimes i just
shut of the radio just listen to the engine spinning.. so wonderful sound, i
think so anyway.

The oldest i want to buy is 00.

Have thought some of buying a 4wheeldrive xc v70 or something like that.

These are the once i have narrowed it down to, please tell me pros/cons that
you know.

Important, i need a car that will give me most power when i optimize it with
chip,better exhaustsystem and other simple adjustments.

If i would choose the xc v70n, the power wouldn't be so important.

xc v70n (5cyl small-turbo)

V70n T5 (5cyl Turbo) (This car should really have AWD)
S80 T6 (6cyl bi/twinturbo) (This car should really have AWD)
C70 T5 (5cyl Turbo) (This car should really have AWD)

I live in Sweden.

Instead of paying ford $xx,xxx - pay a fraction of that and competely
strip & restore a reliable model instead.

Troligtvis blir det nog så, den verkar som ett bra val.. synd att den inte
finns i kombi, hade varit coolt.

 

kör själv en 2,9 -99, saknar biturbon......(men inte förmånsvärdet)

 

Visst är det nåt speciellt med ljudet och känslan av 6cyl, de är helt
underbara. Mjuk underbar spinnande gång, jämt och fint register, ljudet...
så underbart läckert de spinner, de har Volvo verkligen lyckats med tycker
jag.
När man tom stänger av stereon ibland för att höra motorn ljud. Jag tycker
inte det är konstingt, om man nu gillar motorns o bilens karaktär, då är
inte det så konstigt, eller vad tycker du?

Kommer att bli jobbigt den dagen jag ger bort min v90, hoppas bara t6an
eller en sån som du har kan fylla tomrummet efter den.
