Odometer doesn't work

    Just bought a 1991 Volvo Sedan Odometer doesn't work. Is there a way to fix this?

    Hi Melissa, I'm not going to be much help here but I hope someone can help you. I'm on my second Volvo and both had (have) odometer problems. Does the speedometer work? I did have my first one fixed and the second one was fixed but broke again. Those who work on Volvo's told me to start chipping away at fixing, or checking, what COULD be the problem, starting with the least expensive. Apparently, there is something in the back that is easy to check. I don't know how long you have had you car, but if your handy at all, the chilton will come in real handy! Good luck and I'm anxious to hear any replies.
