    Hi All,
I have a 1998 model year V40 1.8i auto which is the first Volvo I have ever
had, and I am truly converted now to them, but just a couple of questions.

    1. My vehicle has air con fitted, not climate control, is there a cabin
filter which needs changing? If so where does it live?

    2. Due to bad fog the other night here in the north of the UK, I had to use
the rear fog lights, not I thought 2 were fitted, and a bulb had blown, but
checked during daylight by taking the dead bulb out (LH viewed from back of
car) and it was OK when tested, have Volvo started just wiring up the RH
    bulb as per minimum requirements?

    Thanks in advance

    Simon....

  2. Volvo only wire the right hand side, for safety as two could be confused for
    brake lights.

Sorry not sure about the cabin filter, check with the local Volvo dealer, if
their is one it may be accessed via the passenger foot well.

I see you are only 20K in front of me, OK mine is a 51 plate (late 2001 for
    Americans)

PS stock up on side lamp bulbs, if you continue with the high mileage you
    will need them.
