My wife recently pulled the driver seat forward and when I got into the car to move it back, the switch disintigrated in my hand. The car is to the point that I really don't want to spend a lot more on it. I will probably trade it in the spring.
Is there a way to simply "hardwire" power to the motor to move the seat back? It can stay in that position for the remainder of the car's life. Attached is a picture of what my switch looks like now.
