Does anyone know of any links which describe in detail how to replace
    the window crank assembly (non-electric) for a 1977 245? I've checked
the Haynes manual, but can't find any detailed instructions.

    Thanks.

It's not too hard, just take the door panel off, remove the clips that
hold the assembly to the bottom of the window, then undo the 4 bolts
that hold it to the door (they're all near the crank, you can see where
they are from you're replacement one.) It helps to have a helper to
hold the window up, and you may need to adjust the position of the
assembly with the crank to get it out of the hole in the door. After
you reinstall the new one, do the final adjustment in the slotted holes
    with the window fully up.
