My cig. lighter stopped working after some kids broke in it and stole my stereo. I checked the fuse and the fuse is fine so I am atm trying to take the cig. lighter apart. I popped off the panel and unscrewed the little screw that holed the back of the lighter together and the black plastic female is off the back of the lighter and now I have the metal terminal and a blue translucent plastic peace around the terminal and a little black plastic thing that is attacked to the blue plastic but I cant get it off. also I do see a little metal prong that hold the black plasic thing to the blue so it doesn't slide off I guess but I know how to move that its the bottom that I cant get. So my question would be how do I take the black little plastic thing off the blue plastic that is holding the metal terminal? Why wont my cig., lighter work but the fuse is fine?
