I have a 1997 Mercedes E420, which I'm looking to replace within the next year or so. I've never had any interest in Volvo before, but the S60 R seems to be more my taste. I've heard some negative comments that it doesn't really make the claimed 300 HP? True or false? Does it really handle as well as they seem to claim? I looked at one at a dealer, and I liked the interior and especially the great seats and soft leather. It seemed like the nicest leather I've ever felt in a car before. Anyway, I'd love some feedback from any owners out there, both the good and the bad... Randy
Just got one last week, in the UK they take a very heavy depreciation hit so if possible try and get one 6 months old and you will save $$$$. Great AWD drive, excellent audio, 18" wheels, selectable chassis options that work plus it de-stresses my work journey far more so than my side-saddle Beemer. Think of it more as a fast 4 wheel drive E class than an M3 and you won't be disappointed.
