Hello Fellow Volvo heads.
My S70 cranks but wont start. I can crank it tel the battery dies. But if I leave it alone for about 30 min. It starts. Then I change the smog pump and the problem seemed to stop.
I could start it on the first try evefrytime. Then I drove it to Oregon where it sat for about a week before I tried to start it.
Now its making a worse sound of trying to start then drops like it gets punched in the gut. as if it the battery is dead. I charged the battery and still not starting. But it wont take a jump. I heard of stableant 22A as helping the ignition make a connection and start.
I dont know where to start.
Ive tried to attach a sound file but couldnt get it to upload.
19 and need to man up!
If someone thinks they can help I can send you an email containing the sound file to take a listen.
Im stuck in OR in the nonstop rain and need this car to get home.
