S80 squeaky glovebox

My 2003 S80 has a noisy glovebox that I can hear while driving.
It seems like the noise is coming from the edge of the door(where the
door meets the dash).
Locking the glovebox seems to help a little bit, but I'd rather be able
to open it without the key while driving.

Unfortunately it's past the 1 year adjustment period.

Any ideas how to fix this problem.

take it in for service. My s60 had the same problem. They put some cloth
tabe around the latch that helped. There is a service bulletin, I believe.
