My speedometer has recently stopped working, so I took it to a mechanic and after 5 hours and a gob of money he wasn't able to find what is wrong with the ABS system. the lights on my dash for brakes and ABS are on but my brakes still work and I don't really know why. Every once and awhile the speedometer will come back on for a few minutes and the lights on the dash will go away, but it wont last long and stop working again.
Any ideas I don't have a lot of mechanics that service Volvos in my area and I just want to point them in the right direction before I spend hundreds of dollars on something that doesn't get fixed.
Also my cruise control is not working I do not know if that makes a difference but that is another clue to this puzzle.
