I looked on Chilton web site and that was no help. I have purchased remanufactured starter from J.C.Whitney. Volvo dealer quoted $960.00 to replace including new starter. I am an experienced amateur mechanic including sport car road racing work at Daytona, Sebring, and Watkins Glen. My problem is car starts fine 95% of the time, but 5% of the time will not respond to ignition key. Low volume click sound is heard. Same post was made in 2006 by "Dave" with no response.
