I found a 1988 Volvo 760 Turbo with only 129k miles. The asking price is only $600 because it won't start. The owner said it will turn over, it just won't start. She said it did not die on the road, she just went out to start it one day and it wouldn't start. Obviously no one can diagnose the issue with that little information however can you at least tell me if that sounds like a decent deal? As long as it cranks over, I know the motor is probably ok. I can probably fix it myself. Guessing it is either the fuel pump or some kind of electrical issue. What do you think? Also, are the Turbo's on these pretty reliable or do I need to worry about the turbo going out? Any other information you can give me would be greatly appreciated.
