I own a 1999 volvo s80 5cylinder engine 5speed automatic transmission and few days ago it displayed d above header but in Dutch and then transmission slipped showing a - sign in place of D on d display. With ALARM beeping on d car stereo display. I guaged d transmission fluid n it was almost out but my mechanic said I shud top transmission oil. Pls what do I do?

Just did a transmission oil change at this local shop. The car worked fine for a day, then the transmission won't a gage any gears. As if it was in neutral all the time. Does anyone have a solution, to a similar incident?
