v40 losing power 3 lights coming on dash and car cuts out

Dear Vlovics
My s40 is losing power for no apparent reason.
3 lights on dashboard and car dies.
Give it a few minutes take key out.
Turn immobilizor on and off and starts again.
ok for 1+ minute and happens again????
Any ideas
