About two months ago, I purchased this vehicle. I have a check engine
light burning. Have checked everything to do with what would be vital to
engine. Oil transmission and water. Vehicle runs good as ever. Is there
a reset switch or something I dont know about?

    Thanks for any help.

  2. The standard procedure is to read the trouble code that is being stored
and see if action needs to be taken. It can be a defective gas cap and
it can be one of the computer sensors, which are necessary for proper
operation of the vehicle. You should find some way of reading your
codes, with a garage that will do it for you or learning how to do it
yourself. Some auto parts stores will do this. Some garages will do
this. All dealers will do this.

Thank you Stephen for the information. I will take the car to a garage
on monday. This is my first time owning a volvo. I really like it and
the performance thus far, has been great. Thanks again for the reply.
