    2001 V70 2.4 Estate.

I have a strange noise coming from around or behind in the area of the
passenger part of the dash, right hand drive car.

The noise happens around every 10 seconds sometimes less and seems to happen
more when I drive as apposed to my wife.

The noise is like two short clicks like a cricket would make almost like a
    buzz.

It does not seem related to movement or happen when the car is stationary
    with the engine running.

    Any ideas please.

Do you have a cell phone? Many will generate inference with the radio, heard
    as clicks, etc.

    No cell.

Looking under the bonnet / hood there is nothing from that side near to
    where the noise is.
Itseems to click around every 10 to 12 seconds and does it more when I drive
    as apposed to my wife.

Do you have automatic AC? That gives noise when adjusting duct flows and
directions. Could it be that one. It is not continuos sound.
