I had my car (1987 740) jacked up yesterday and was finally able to
take a peek at my vacuum canister tucked up under the front bumper.
Does it have any kind of one-way valve that allows air to blow through
it, but not sucked back? I don't want to go through the trouble of
accessing it, and need to know if I can mount a generic version or just
make one.
What is the difference between having the vacuum suck through a
canister, or me just block the tube that goes to the canister? I don't
have a turbo if that makes a difference.
