will seats adapt from a 740 to 240?

I have bent and collapsed support in both 87 240 and 88 245 (DL'S) my local
scrap recycling yard has seats from similar year but model 740's The
question is can I somehow get this to fit, has anyone done it? How?

The 700 seats are too wide and too low to fit in a 240.
