Driver's side window squeaks as it is going down. Does anyone have a cure?

  3. If the window guides are rubber, a spritz of silicone lubricant on the
    guides should make things better.

You need to remove the door panel & lube the sliding blocks in the
    window glass channel

  6. not a bad idea to look for any metal scraping the glass and in my case
removing the sun shade tinting being scratched off as well .LUBE IT WELL as
it takes the strain off the electrics and teeth of the winding gear .
