I'm looking for a Volvo Mechanic in the Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill
area of NC to solve an electrical problem. Fuse 9 ( Turn Signals,
fan and ac relays, and power windows) Really bad when it fails because
you have no ac or fan and you can not lower the windows.

Started out as an AC problem, I think. I picked the car up from my
daughter and the AC clutch had frozen and the blower did not work. I
put a new belt on the AC compressor, converted over to 134A and no
problems for a 3 months. Then the AC clutch blew apart. I have
removed the belt and have been running with no AC for several weeks.
Then fuse 9 started to blow inexplicably.

I would appreciate any guidance for a mechanic or any suggestions.

    Thanks

    K Ferguson

Have you also disconnected the power to the AC clutch?

I did tonight and no more blown fuses. Thanks. I was turning
    molehill into a mountain. Thanks.
