    Hi

Any advice on how to get the leather skin off the 9xx/7xx rear seat
    base?
The stitching has come undone on one of the joins. Simple to restitch,
but ohhh to get the skin off and back on.

I have the seat out of the car and see there are a set of rings held
in place by a steel rod, but this looks a serious job to get this out
    and back in?

I have a short vidoe clip if it helps.

    Regards
    Ian

You need to remove the "rings" which are very thick and strong but bendable (to
straighten) with a pair of pliers. Watch out as the ends of the wire rings are
    very sharp!

    Cheers, Peter.
