I have a 2006 Volvo S60 2.5t and about every 2 or so months the
coolant light comes on and I need to add coolant. I am worried of a
serious problem that is happening that I am not aware of. Does anyone
have this problem or know what it is?

Many cars, not just Volvo's will at some point begin leaking coolant
slowly. The trick is to find where. It could be simply a loose hose
clamp on a car that new. And it could be a slowly leaking inlet pipe
on the plastic upper radiator tank. It could also be a leaking heater
core. And finally, there is a chance it is a leaking head gasket.
Unless you have the knowlege to poke around and look for what is
likely a very small leak I would strongly recommend that an
experienced Volvo mechanic do the job. It is something that should be
looked into sooner rather than later because small leaks can in some
    situations suddenly become much bigger.

Without inspecting the car my best guess is the bottom right of the
radiator is leaking almost every Volvo I have seen with this complaint
is caused by the radiator leaking if your Volvo is still under warranty
then return to the dealer & have them check for a coolant leak
