I was having a tough time getting my passenger side e-code light
aligned. It just wouldn't look right and when I got the lows correct,
the high beams were all screwed up.
After adjusting the reflector to no avail, I checked the bulb and sure
enough there was a darn shield INSIDE the bulb that was throwing light
the wrong way because I had the bulb inserted wrong.
When I removed the bulb and aligned it correctly in the reflector all
was well.
