My 1982 240 Dl with manual transmission was repaired about a year ago. The gears are very difficult to engage unless the car is parked and turned off. Reverse gear is almost impossible to engage when the engine is running and it also emits a loud noise. When the engine is turned off this does not happen. I am thinking on repairing the transmission again. Any suggestions?
