Every so often, after several days or weeks of starting fine, our 2000 V70
will be found in the garage with almost a dead battery and will need a
jumper to start. The battery is almost new and nothing has been left on. It
only happens after being left over night in the garage for a least one
night. After driving it to recharge the battery, it will be fine again for
who knows how long. Any ideas? Thanks Brad

  2. A common gotcha in many cars is the glove box light staying on. The simple
diagnostic is to remove the glove box light bulb and see if that fixes it.
In addition, when you open the glove box the bulb and surrounding area
    should not be hot yet.
