When my XC90 diesel cross over the rain puddles on the road, all the water
comes violently to the windscreen. This situation is really dangerous for me
because I have no sight for some seconds. The speed of the car when it
hapens is from 20 km/h and forward and the puddles are not deep enought.
Does anybody have this problem? What can I do? Thanks

  2. The only reason this problem is worse in the XC90 than a sedan is that
you have much wider tires and more clearance. The wide tires throw up
much more water and the high clearance provides a much bigger path for
the water to get to the windscreen.

The solution that I can think of are:

    1) avoid puddles,

    2) when you can't turn on the wipers before you hit the puddle,

and 3) possibly you could have 2 additional mud flaps installed in front
    of the front tires.

    Good luck!
